Unfriendly staff, you feel undesirable. WLAN only at the entrance, nothing arrives in the rooms. Anyone looking for arrogant staff can stay here.

Rooms were clean new bathroom TV too small

Uneaten, unfinished meals are put on the new customer's kitchen and served to the next customer. Service i d Küche drinks open bottles without glasses with a mouth. Guests had to pay for meat even if it was not to eat and returned to the kitchen. The next customer paid again for the same meat ,,,,

Very nice, absolutely quiet, good room and very nice hostess

PROS: Lovely, charming place. It has a sort of rustic cabin charm with wooden walls and furniture, flowers and decorations. We stayed there twice, and twice we requested apartment A1 (we recommend this, if available), which includes a bedroom with a double bed, a living room, a bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining table and a balcony overlooking the yard. It's a very nice apartment for a fair price, and everything was clean. If you're not up for cooking - they serve good food there for breakfast and dinner. The young lady that works there (I think her name is Anna Lena?) is very nice and helpful. There's enough parking, and Lenzkirch is a very good place for hiking in the black forest (we recommend that you rent a car). CONS: the wifi is pretty bad. However, while this was pretty inconvenient the first time around, but by our second visit we knew this in advance and decided that it's not the end of the world not to be on Facebook for a couple of days while we vacation in the black forest. We brought some books and a board game and that totally filled our evenings. Sometimes the front door is closed (like when we arrived) and we weren't really sure what to do in that situation, since if we're tourists, we can't necessarily call the owner and ask (no connection). these times should be made clearer in the website or upon reservation. If you like sleeping in - be aware that there is a church right next door, with a bell ringing quite loudly every 15 minutes starting at 7 AM. We didn't much mind this since we wanted to get up early as it is, and actually found this helpful at times. All in all - we enjoyed our stay very much.

The reception is available at selected times, in case of late there is no phone number to get any information. The laundry room is but at an additional cost.

Actually was thought to stay in this inn for 5 nights, a cold room and the in vain expected friendliness of the staff made us however to leave the hotel after one night. Luckily, there are other overnight accommodations in the Black Forest. The breakfast was ok. With the warm dishes from the evening menu the kitchen could not convince. The Straub family will probably not see us again.

We have never seen anything like this ... When the four of us and friends came into the dining room, we asked if we could have a drink here. Then three of us ordered something to drink and the fourth didn't want to drink anything at that moment. The innkeeper went back and after a short time brought the first drinks. The second time my friend even ordered a soup afterwards. When my friend still did not want to order anything when asked, the innkeeper was impudent and asked the friend to leave the inn (“they are not a lounge here”), although the three of us (including his girlfriend) had already ordered something. My buddy actually had to leave the inn. The rest of us were quite perplexed because such insolence has never happened to us. A moment later we confronted the landlady, but she was stubborn. Then we also left the inn. A really unfriendly way with which you can permanently scare away guests. We will definitely never come back here and advise everyone against it. This behavior is a basic attitude against hospitality.

Super clean rooms. We stayed in the hotel and also in the apartments and both are recommended. Very quiet location with good food and traditional cuisine. From there you can start very nice hikes z. B. in the Wutachschlucht. With the Black Forest map is also the trip by bus and train recommended.

I didn't get to stay at this hotel because it was booked up. But, we did come back for supper because it did smell very yummy. We got there and we were seated at the entrance of the restaurant beside a a family with a very loud toddler. The table cloth was dirty with fresh stains of food. My friend asked if it was possible to get a table in the gazebo because it has a very nice view to the valley. They said no that that was only for morning bread fast for the Guests that stay at the hotel. Then my friend asked if we could be seated at the restaurant. seen that it was not even half full, The owner said no because it was they way it was and that if you wanted to be seated at the restaurant you need to reserve ahead. Because only the hotel guests are allow there. End That my friends was my experience with the restaurant side of the place. PS: also don't believe when they said that they only use natural ingredients in their food. I am MSG intolerant and they told us that they don't use it ...Guess what...they do.

One star is too many... First of all there is no wifi in the rooms. There is no oven in the rooms only one kitchen for the whole floor but the cheap housekeeper locked it so we couldn't eat dinner. She wouldn't even let us print our flight tickets. DON'T COME NEAR THIS PLACE!

Do not order cheese spaetzle !!! The portion is so small. My 11 year old son did not get enough. We do not want to talk about an adult. See the photo. Have taken a bit already. Have the same reclamation. But nobody has any interest ....

We spent 3 nights in the Anita holiday home. Overall, the house made a clean but rather dated appearance. The inventory is getting on in years. Breakfast is ok. A little bit of fresh fruit, but sufficient overall. We had an evening menu at the inn this was phenomenal. The service was very attentive and the food was really tasty and of good quality. The only thing we had to complain about was the amount of animal hair on the carpet. Despite a "complaint" with the landlady, they weren't completely sucked away. Not suitable for allergy sufferers, you should definitely inform yourself in advance. Overall, we were satisfied and would spend a few more days there.

Booked one night at this hotel on the internet by mistake after check-in time was already over. when i got there 30 minutes later, it was closed and dark, and knocking repeatedly on the door did not help. no one answered. So i had to find another hotel open at this hour (not an easy job at 21:00 in the black forest). When i woke up the next day i found out that the hotel charged me 136 euros for not showing up, even though i was there and the door of the hotel was locked. So i went there to try and talk to the owner of the hotel, but see just yelled at me, and told me that if i would not get out of her property, her husband would throw me out. I would definitely stay the hell away from this place.
